The Gherkin building in London has been sold for more than £700m to the Safra Group run by Brazilian billionaire Joseph Safra.
Safra has acquired The Gherkin from receivers after it fell into administration in 2009. It was owned by Evans Randall and a consortium of German retail investors in IVG Private Funds.
