TFL submits plans for London Underground HQ

TFL-St-James's-Park-300px Transport for London has submitted plans to redevelop the London Underground HQ at 55 Broadway, SW1.

The Grade 1 listed office building will be converted into a residential scheme with 22% affordable and social housing on site as well as renovating shops at St James’s Park Tube station.

TateHindle have been chosen as architects for the scheme.

Graeme Craig, director of commercial development at TfL, said: “All revenue generated from the redevelopment will be reinvested into the transport network to make journeys better for everyone, bear down on fares and support economic prosperity in London and the UK.”
