Berkeley’s arresting development

Hampshire-Police-HQ

Tony Pidgley’s Berkeley Group has unveiled new plans for the redevelopment of Hampshire Police’s Winchester HQ.

The John Thompson-designed scheme includes 200 flats on the site of the former offices.

The site is subject to an existing consent for a redevelopment comprising 294 homes, and could have a gross development value of more than £90m.

Hampshire Police was advised by Lambert Smith Hampton.

Subject to planning, Berkeley anticipates a start on site in 2016 and is targeting completion in 2019.
