Dickens’ home for sale

A London flat where the three-year-old Charles Dickens lodged with his impoverished family is on the market for £760,000.

The Dickens family stayed in the one-bed Bloomsbury home in 1815 and the young Charles returned between 1828 and 1831.

It is yards from a former workhouse believed to have been the inspiration for Oliver Twist.
