The average number of houses being marketed by estate agents has hit a record low according to Rightmove.
New home listings have fallen 15% in the month to November 14 and the average asking price has dropped by £4,542.
Meanwhile estate agents have an average of just 60 homes on their books, which is the lowest level ever recorded for this time of year.
