The Welsh government is actively seeking a developer to provide grade-A office space in Llandudno for oil and gas consultancy firm CGG Robertson.
The company requires 55,000 sq ft for its 240 employees as its current offices date back to the 1970s and are no longer fit for purpose.
The government has bought the land occupied by the existing offices and leased it back to CGG Robertson until it can find developers.
A property development grant is available to potential developers and the government has already approved a £1m assistance package to relocate the firms laboratory facilities to another site.
