A festive winter wonderland masterminded by designer Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen has closed after just one day following complaints.
The Magical Journey attraction, at the Belfry golf club near Wishaw, Warwickshire, promised a magical experience for £22.50 a head, but has closed ‘for improvements’ after scores of visitors demanded their money back.
Some complained of rude staff and cheap presents from Father Christmas, while others were more concerned by the recklessly driven train, which then had to be pushed back up the hill by ‘elves’.
The attraction will reopen on Wednesday.
