Online retailer Amazon has signed a lease for a new 46,000 sq ft fashion photography studio in Shoreditch, E2.
The space at Transport for London’s Geffrye Street scheme will provide model images for Amazon’s European fashion business. It will open by summer 2015.
Amazon has signed more than 100 new fashion brands since the start of the year. Designers on the website include Emporio Armani and Vivienne Westwood.
Sergio Bucher, vice president of Amazon Fashion EU, said: “Our new studio will enable us to produce high volumes of top-class photography by employing great talent in one of the leading fashion capitals of the world.”
