Bicester in Oxfordshire will be the site of a new garden city, deputy prime minister Nick Clegg has revealed.
The proposal will form part of the National Infrastructure Plan, and will involve the construction of up to 13,000 new homes as well as, potentially, a new railway station.
The plan is due to be published Tuesday, along with details of other housing measures including plans to protect homes from flooding.
