The appointment of Kirk Kinsell as chief executive officer at Loews Corp.’s hotels unit could result in the U.S. hotel chain expanding into Europe.
“Kirk has vast international experience. We will be open to his ideas about how we might expand,” Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts, said. “Key markets internationally for our clientele are London and Paris.”
Mr. Kinsell is president of Americas for InterContinental. He will take up his new role at the beginning of March.
