JLL industrial and logistics director Tim Clement has been appointed chairman of the Industrial Agents Society, succeeding Darren Cheeseman.
Cheeseman served as IAS chairman for two years, spearheading industry-wide campaigns, overseeing annual charity partnerships and organising events.
Clement said: “This is a fantastic position to hold and I’m excited for the two years ahead. With the market improving and the organisation reaching its 40th birthday, there is lots to do in terms of raising the profile of the IAS and ensuring that we hold more networking and training events.”
The IAS is a specialist professional body of industrial, logistics and distribution advisers and consultants. Established in 1976, it has around 900 members, primarily in the UK.
