Grainger has poached the chief executive of Get Living London to head its private rented division.
Derek Gorman has been appointed managing director of market rented assets and will join on 12 January next year.
He will have a UK-wide remit to lead the delivery and development of Grainger’s market rented strategy, and lead the integration of the model across all business teams.
Most recently Gorman was chief executive of Get Living London, which was involved in the management of East Village on the former Olympic site in Stratford, E20.
Grainger chief executive Andrew Cunningham said: “Derek’s arrival at Grainger is a significant hire for us which will greatly enhance our drive to increase our market rented portfolio and our product and service offering.”
