Oil and house prices are the main threats to the U.K.’s banks, the Bank of England’s quarterly financial stability report finds.
The BoE noted that companies affected by the slump in the oil price may have difficulties servicing debt, political tension could increase and deflation fears could hit business confidence.
Housing, meanwhile, remains the “biggest domestic risk,” but there has been no increase in the threat since June, the central bank said.
