The average U.K. house price rose 11.3% in November on the year and was up 0.8% on the month, the LSL Property Services/Acadata House Price Index shows.
The increase brought the average house price to £280,733.
Annual house price growth in England and Wales has risen from 5.4% in November 2013, while the average house price has risen £28,560 over the same period, David Newnes, director of estate agents Reeds Rains and Your Move said.
