Post Offices opened in a church, in pubs and even in a cowshed last year amid a ‘transformation’ of the network.
The Post Office has denied claims by Union officials that they are closing locations by stealth by not reopening those that have closed temporarily, and have pointed to what amounts to an extension of the service.
Other locations included a monastery on an island off the Pembroke shire coast and a barbers in Hampshire.
