JLL hires sustainability pair

JLL-logo-THUMB.gifJLL has appointed two senior sustainability directors.

Alfonso Ponce-Alvarez joins as director of the company’s UK occupier consulting team.  He was previously head of sustainability at Deloitte France.

Darren Berman  joins as director of JLL’s upstream sustainability team from CBRE, where he headed up its energy and sustainability consulting practice.

Julie Hirigoyen, head of sustainability at JLL, said: “At a time when environmental and socioeconomic issues continue to permeate decisions about property investment and occupation, JLL is boosting its sustainability capacity.

“These two senior appointments demonstrate the importance we continue to place on this area of client advice, and reinforce our leadership position within the industry for having the best talent to deliver the sustainability needs of our clients.”
