Prologis has signed a lease agreement with Optima Logistics for a 185,396 sq ft distribution centre in Middlewich, Cheshire.
The freight management and logistics services firm operates across the UK and Europe, and will take DC1 on the Middlewich Park as part of its expansion programme.
Optima managing director, Kevin Williams, said: “There is an increasing demand for our bespoke distribution services and this state-of-the-art building will allow us to develop our capabilities. It is in an ideal location for many of our clients and it represents a significant investment in the ongoing success of our business.”
Prologis UK managing director, Andrew Griffiths, said: “Optima Logistics needed a distribution centre in the North West that is immediately ready to occupy.
“We aim to offer our customers the best opportunities in the market and we are delighted that we were able to meet the company’s requirements at Middlewich.”
