UK funds spend £127m on London retail parks

UK funds this week splashed £127m on greater London retail parks.

Aberdeen Asset Management’s Tower retail park in Crayford, Dartford, is under offer to Henderson UK for £67m – a 5% yield.

Tower retail park extends 120,200 sq ft and is anchored by Next and Currys.

Staples Corner retail park, NW2, is under offer to BlackRock’s UK Property Fund for around £60m – a 5.7% yield.

Threadneedle Investments originally bought the 166,378 sq ft Staples Corner retail park in March 2012. The scheme is anchored by Laura Ashley and PC World.

Morgan Williams advised both Aberdeen Asset Management and Threadneedle; BlackRock was advised by Harvey Spack Field and Henderson UK was advised by Cushman & Wakefield.
