British luxury residential developer Consero London has signed a deal to deliver £300m homes across the Middle East.

Consero will open an office in Oman’s capital Muscat and said this was the first time since 2007 that a British house builder has announced a major overseas expansion to build a British product across the Middle East.

Mansions and houses will be developed over the next five years in Oman and across the Middle East.

The deal was agreed with Sheikh Fahad Abdullah Al Araimi of Oman, the chief executive of the Al Raid Group.

Saraya, the architectural design and project management division of the Al Raid Group, will act as lead consultant to Consero Design.

Founded in 2004, Consero London has completed and sold more than £1bn of luxury homes in London and the home counties.

The firm typically builds super-prime homes of up to 45,000 sq ft, priced from £8m up to £60m.

Robert Osborn, co-founding director of Consero London, said: “We have developed an excellent relationship with Saraya, which is a leading specialist in high-quality architectural design and project management in Oman. For us, Saraya was the partner of choice for our entry into the Omani and wider Gulf Co-operation Council region.”
