Leeds city council has approved Scarborough’s plans to build 300 homes at its £400m mixed-use development at Thorpe Park Leeds.
The homes, which will be mainly houses with some apartments, will be built on a 17.7- acre site in the north part of the development. SGI will now seek a house builder partner.
The residential consent was sought to replace an element of the original 1.1m sq ft of office space.
Thorpe Park covers 600,000 sq ft of business space and a hotel, as well as 935,000 sq ft of office space, 200,000 sq ft of retail and up to 175,000 sq ft of leisure space.
