Savills has confirmed that former Apple man Mark Simms will be leading its shopping centre team, as revealed by Estates Gazette in November.
Simms has more than 10 years’ experience, having worked for technology giant Apple as senior estate manager tasked with facilitating Apple’s European, Middle East and Brazilian expansion.
Prior to this, he held roles at Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE.
Sean Gillies, head of retail at Savills, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Mark, he brings with him a great breadth of experience having worked with some of the biggest brands and landlords. We are confident Mark will be an excellent addition to our already successful and established team.”
