The former Arts Council England Whitehall HQ, which was at the centre of bidding war last year, is to be converted into luxury homes.
Maple Springfield has submitted plans to Westminster city council to convert 30,000 sq ft office block 14 Great Peter Street, SW1, into 29 homes.
Barbara Weiss Architects-designed flats for the property, which has views over the Houses of Parliament, SW1, will range from one to five bedrooms.
The Edwardian-style building was previously home to Arts Council England. It sold in 2014 for 54% above Canada Life Investments’ £21m asking price.
