Revised plans by Almacantar for a major mixed-use development of Marble Arch Tower, W1, have been recommended for approval.
Ahead of a decision meeting tonight, Westminster city council planners have recommended that proposals for up to 49 flats be approved.
Consent would also be for around 97,000 sq ft of offices and a cinema.
The Rafael Viñoly-designed proposals comprise a 18 storey-tower and seven-storey block.
The recommendation for consent is subject to Almacantar delivering 76 flats at 466-490 Edgware Road, W2, which will provide an element of affordable housing.
Subject to planning, construction is expected to start this autumn.
Gerald Eve is advising.
