A former care home in Barlands, Devon, will go under the hammer with a guide price of £400,000 at the upcoming Network Auctions sale.
The 11-room house has scope for redevelopment, subject to planning, as a six-flat scheme or a hotel.
Originally built in 1880 as a doctor’s residence, the house is 20 minutes from the coast and is set in grounds totalling half an acre.
It is being sold on behalf of a private individual on 3 March at The Grosvenor House Hotel, W1.
