Allsop residential raises £47m
Allsop residential raised £47m at its first residential sale of the year, reflecting an 80% success rate. The largest lot was Waddon House in Croydon, a 53,600 sq ft office building with permitted development rights for conversion to 60 self-contained flats. The next auction will take place on 24 March at the Cumberland Hotel, W1.
Eddisons makes club sale
Eddisons London sold six of 11 lots offered at its 19 February auction, reflecting a 55% success rate and total takings of £1.2m. The top lot was a freehold 7,768 sq ft building arranged as a ground-floor bar and club, which sold for £760,000, reflecting a 7.89% yield.
Lansdowne launches catalogue
The full catalogue for the upcoming Lansdowne Property Auctions sale is now available online. A total of 18 lots will be offered, ranging in price from £4,000 to £500,000. The auction will be its first of the year and will take place on 5 March at the Connaught Hotel, W1.
ASR’s lucky 13
Andrew Scott Robinson’s first sale of 2015 raised more than £13m off an 80% success rate. In total 52 lots sold, with an average sale price of £261,745. The largest lot sold under the hammer was a five-bedroom house on Sisters Avenue, Battersea, SW11, within walking distance of Clapham Common, guided at £950,000. The property sold for £1,255,000. The next auction will take place on 20 April at the Hotel Russell, W1.
