Argent and US developer Related Companies have been selected as preferred partners for a joint venture with Barnet council to deliver its Brent Cross Cricklewood South scheme.
The £4bn project covers a 235-acre site south of London’s North Circular. It comprises 15m sq ft including 7,500 homes and adjoins Hammerson’s and Standard Life Investments’ redevelopment of the Brent Cross shopping centre (pictured).
Gateway Barnet, a joint venture between Far East Consortium, Countryside Properties, Notting Hill Housing Trust and Southern Grove, is reserve bidder.
The recommendations will go before a council committee on 3 March.
