Lloyds’ six-way split streamlines and specialises

Lloyds-Banking-Group-sign.jpegLloyds Banking Group has -created six new specialist teams within its commercial real estate division.

The restructure is part of an ongoing streamlining of the business following the merger of its mid-market and global -corporate real estate teams last year to form a single unit led by managing director and global head of commercial real estate John Feeney.

The new structure, which comes into force next month, creates six new divisions focussing on specific markets and client needs.

They are a listed clients team, headed by former head of relationship management Richard Heath, which will work with publicly listed property companies to help support their growth strategies; an institutional client team, led by former Deutsche Pfandbriefbank director Madeleine McDougall, which will work with financial sponsors, investment managers, sovereign wealth funds and insurers; a developers team, led by former relationship director Graeme Alfille-Cook; a private real estate corporates team, headed by Marty Green, formerly head of the mid-markets commercial real estate division; an international team, run by Pierre Gervasi; and a major private groups team, led by Gabrielle Berring.

The restructured group will focus on high-net-worth investors, an area Lloyds said was a particular focus as global wealth continues to invest in the UK market.
