CBRE GI sells Brussels block

CBRE-Global-Investors-THUMB.jpegCBRE Global Investors has sold a landmark office tower in Brussels on behalf of two clients to Schroder REIM.

The 376,740 sq ft, 26-storey Bastion Tower in Brussels’ Place du Champ du Mars was built in the 1960s and has been modernised several times.

The tower is occupied by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Michael Page International and the Austrian Embassy.

The two clients, Investa Office Fund and CBRE European Office fund, purchased the property in 2007.

The sale price was not disclosed.

CBRE GI’s advisers on the deal were JLL, Cushman & Wakefield, Loyens & Loeff and Lydian.
