Pugh & Co sold 70% of the 228 lots offered at their February auction, raising £13.5m. The two-day event, held on 26 and 27 February, took place at two venues: Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium and Leeds United’s Elland Road ground.

Barnett Ross celebrates 93%
Barnett Ross is celebrating success rates of 93% from its most recent  auction, which raised £12.6m. Top lots included a parade of five shops with nine flats above in Hillingdon, Middlesex, which sold for £1.8m. The auction took place on 24 February at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, W1.

Restaurant wins high bids
CP Bigwood raised a total of £13.4m at its most recent sale, reflecting an 84% success rate. Of 118 lots offered, 99 sold. The long leasehold of a 6,685 sq ft restaurant in Aston, Birmingham, West Midlands, sold well, with the hammer coming down at £390,000. The auction took place at Aston Villa football club, on 26 February.

MS Auctions scores 52%
MS Auctions raised £3.2m at its 2 March auction, with 13 of the 25 offered lots selling, reflecting a 52% success rate. The top lot in the rooms was a long leasehold interest in a three-bedroom maisonette in New Cross, SE14, which sold for £227,000 – a 7.93% yield. The auction took place at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel, W1.

Strettons preps for 60-lot sale
Strettons will offer total of 60 lots will be offered, including a freehold vacant shop investment on Kingsland Road, E2, with a guide price of £1.1m and a freehold house with scope for development in Spitalfields, E1, with a guide price of £675,000, at its 30 March auction. The sale will take place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.
