Kampus-570pxCapital & Centric and Henry Boot Developments have unveiled plans for a 450,000 sq ft mixed-use scheme at Aytoun Street in Manchester.

The joint venture partnership has submitted a strategic framework to Manchester city council which includes 500 homes and two hotels.

The joint venture partners paid around £7.5m for the 2.3-acre site in 2014. The listed Minto & Turner and Minshulls mills will be refurbished as part of the £175m project.

The scheme, which is to be renamed Kampus, has been recommended for approval by Manchester council chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein.
