JV minted for Royal refurb

Royal-Mint-Court-THUMB.jpegDelancey and LRC Group have agreed a joint venture to unlock a major refurbishment of the eastern City fringe campus Royal Mint Court, EC3.

The 5.5-acre site is occupied by four largely vacant buildings, redevelopment of which has been long delayed by their complex ownership structure.

Delancey client DV4 bought the freehold from the Crown Estate in 2010 and LRC acquired the debt secured against the headleasehold in 2014.

Delancey has been appointed to secure a new planning consent for the site.
