Topshop goes large at Bullring

River-Island-at-Bullring

Topshop is to open its third largest UK store at Birmingham’s Bullring shopping centre.

The fashion chain will significantly expand its presence in the 1m sq ft shopping centre by upsizing into a new 36,000 sq ft store.

Topshop will share the unit with its brother brand Topman. The store will be set out across two levels and will be open in time for Christmas.

Meanwhile, River Island has upsized into a 33,000 sq ft unit where it will launch a complementary styling service called Style Studio. Joining Topshop on the centre’s upper level, the store spans two floors.

These expansions are the latest in a number of recent additions to the Bullring’s upper level.  Zara opened its first standalone menswear store in November last year and Ted Baker and Victoria’s Secret also opened before Christmas. They join Michael Kors and Whistles.
