Savills poaches Hamptons duo for PRS push

Savills-logo-THUMB.jpegSavills has appointed two new directors to its London residential development team as returns from private rented sector schemes in the capital continue to strengthen.

Nick Vaughan and James Underhill, who join from Hampton International, will take up their roles in July.

Vaughan was head of residential development and investment at Hamptons for more than 10 years. In his new role he will have a mandate to build Savills’ residential development business in London.

Underhill previously worked with Vaughan as a director. At Savills he will be tasked with servicing the firm’s current projects and any new business.

Dominic Grace, Savills’ head of London residential development, said: “These are two very strong individuals who have worked together very successfully for several years.”

The appointments come as research from CBRE reveals that the value of PRS schemes in London strengthened in the first quarter of 2015.
