Octopus Healthcare has appointed Andrew Neville as manager in charge of investment in UK healthcare properties.
Neville joins from private equity firm GI Partners where he was responsible for investment in care homes, private hospitals and retirement homes.
Prior to this Neville was with investment firm Three Delta and before that worked in the corporate finance team at PwC.
Neville said: “Octopus has established the most exciting healthcare investment platform in the UK, as evidenced by Octopus Healthcare’s growth to £900m of healthcare funds under management from a standing start three years ago.
“The flexibility Octopus Healthcare offers when deploying capital, be it investing in the underlying real estate, the operating business or a combination of the two, while having the option to participate at any level within the capital structure from senior secured debt through to equity, appears to be unrivalled in the marketplace.”
