Labour’s mansion tax plan is more popular with voters than the Conservative’s Right-to-Buy policy, according to new figures from YouGov compiled for Estates Gazette.
Some 61% of voters support the tax on £2m-plus homes versus 39% who back the council house sell off.
YouGov’s full findings will be presented at EG’s London Question Time at Fitzroy Place, W1, (pictured) on 29 April by head of political and social research Joe Twyman.
