Hostelworld has taken 25,400 sq ft in Number One Central Park in suburban Dublin, the largest deal signed in Dublin’s suburban office market in 2015.
The firm has taken a 20-year lease for space on the building’s second floor at a rent of around €23.70 (£17.67) per sq ft.
The Central Park office park has been managed by Green Property REIT Ventures since it was acquired by The Central Park Limited Partnership in Q1 2014.
Hostelworld will join existing tenants Vodafone, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Ulster Bank, Leaseplan, Tullow Oil and Salesforce.
Feargal Mooney, chief executive of Hostelworld, said: “Our continued year-on-year growth, accelerated by our acquisition of Hostelbookers in 2013, has resulted in us needing to expand into a new, bigger office space. It’s an exciting time at Hostelworld, and we look forward to our next chapter in our new surroundings.”
CBRE acted for Green Property REIT Ventures with HWBC representing Hostelworld.
Knight Frank is joint office agent for Central Park.
