Plans to create a swimming pool in the Thames have moved a step forward after the project met its target of achieving £125,000 of funding on Kickstarter.
Planning permission is expected later this year, with construction to start next year. The project could be completed and open to the public in 2017. The full cost is likely to be £11m.
The pool could be located next to the London Eye or Tower Bridge, and would be open all year round.
