The sale of Edward Davenport’s 24-bedroom London mansion is thought to have raised £25m.
Proceeds from the sale of the property, formerly the Sierra Leone high commission, will go to pay £13m in confiscation and compensation orders against Davenport, who was convicted on fraud charges in 2011.
Davenport bought the property in 1999. The house featured in the film The King’s Speech.
