UBS Global Asset Management’s Central London Office Fund has agreed a record Soho office rent with global drinks conglomerate Diageo at 12 Golden Square, W1.
Diageo – owner of Guinness, Smirnoff and Captain Morgan – will take 9,238 sq ft on the fourth, fifth and sixth floors at an average rent of £97.80 per sq ft on a 10-year lease.
The deal tops Amsprop Estates’ £92.50 per sq ft letting at 44 Great Marlborough Street, W1, in 2014.
Bluebook and Colliers International acted for UBS; CBRE advised Diageo.
