Three Snowhill to go ahead

Three-Snowhill-570Plans for the major third phase of Birmingham’s Snowhill development are due to win consent later this week.

Ballymore’s 400,000 sq ft proposals for Three Snowhill will go before planners on Thursday. The plans are likely to be approved subject to section 106 agreements.

The revised plans include a 16-storey tower, comprising 360,000 sq ft of offices alongside 40,000 sq ft of leisure and retail.

The long-awaited scheme had been mothballed because of the recession, but now forms a key part of the wider Snow Hill masterplan for the area.

Original plans for the third phase comprised a 43-storey residential tower and a 23-storey tower housing Birmingham’s first five-star hotel.
