Barnard Marcus raises £26.6m

Barnard Marcus raised £26.6m and posted a 75% success rate at its most recent sale. A  mixed retail/residential investment in Birmingham, West Midlands, sold for £775,000 – a 9% yield. The sale took place on 19 May at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.


Pub locks in Seel & Co success

A pub in South Glamorgan that sold for £286,000 was one of the top lots at Welsh auction house Seel & Co’s latest sale, which raised £3m from 36 lots – an 84% success rate. The auction took place at the Park Inn in Cardiff on 19 May.


Athawes sale brings in £3.5m

Athawes Son & Co raised £3.5m at its latest sale on 20 May. Of 25 lots offered, a total of 16 sold, reflecting a 64% success rate. The long leasehold of a two-bedroom, first-floor flat in Neasden, NW10, was one of the auction’s top lots, selling for £117,500. The sale was held at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2.


93 lots grace AHL catalogue

Some 93 lots will be on offer at the upcoming Auction House London sale, including a residential investment opportunity in Spitalfields, E1, that comprises a mid-terrace building arranged as four self-contained flats to be offered with a £2m guide. The auction takes place on 4 June at the Landmark Hotel, NW1.


Harman Healey to offer resi

A total of 37 lots will be on offer at the upcoming Harman Healey sale, which takes place on 4 June at Kensington Town Hall, W8. The residential-led sale will offer both London and regional lots, including properties in Bath, Somerset; Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex; and Cinderford, Gloucestershire.
