A seven-screen Odeon cinema in Worcester in the West Midlands was the star lot at Acuitus’ latest sale, selling for £1.5m – a 6.3% yield.
It was one of 52 lots to sell out of 64 – an 82% success rate. In total the sale raised £45.3m.
Auctioneer Richard Auterac said: “This catalogue was notable for its wide geographic and sector spread. Of the 64 lots offered, only a handful were from London.”
The auction took place on 21 May at the Raddisson Blu Portman, W1.
