Blackstone Group and CityView have teamed up to develop a 3.4-acre residential and retail site in Oakland, California.
The $150m project will see the site transformed into around 435 apartments and 24,000 sq ft of retail space.
Construction is expected to start this year.
The move comes as part of the UK government’s devolution agenda
