Agents score an own-goal

Shed-shifters never learn. You might think that 11 members of the fraternity would have had the sense to lose a football match played against SEGRO at Fulham FC’s Craven Cottage, SW6, on 19 May to raise funds for LandAid.

But no, Joel Duncan of JLL managed to poke one past the keeper in the 80th minute to seal a 2-1 win against the biggest client of all his teammates. George Wilson of CBRE had the temerity to score in the 67th minute, just two minutes after SEGRO’s All-Stars went 1-0 thanks to a goal by Richard Blake.

To rub salt in the client’s wounds, Chris Knight of JLL was declared man of the match.

The team fielded players from firms including Knight Frank, JLL, BNP Paribas Real Estate and CBRE. The tournament took place on 9-10 May.
