SC Capital Partners will begin marketing of a real-estate fund with an Asian focus next week, the company’s managing director, Suchad Chiaranussatti.
The fund has a target size of $400m and plans to offer a net 10% return.
Chiaranussatti expects Asia-Pacific to drive future economic growth, and said 80% of the fund’s properties will be in transparent and liquid markets – for example Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore – with the rest accounted for by China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan and Thailand.
