Wasabi in at SEGRO’s Park Royal

Origin-Park-Royal-SEGRO-THUMB.jpegWasabi Co has signed a 15-year lease on a 65,000 sq ft unit at SEGRO’s Origin scheme in Park Royal, London.

The lease has been signed on a speculative basis. The site is expected to complete in December 2015.

The signing means two units are still available at Origin, a completed 36,015 sq ft unit and a 34,560 sq ft unit still under construction.

Wasabi will join brands such as John Lewis, Ocado and Mash Purveyors on the former Guinness Brewery site.

SEGRO’s chief executive David Sleath said: “We are thrilled that Wasabi is joining us at Origin – our flagship development – which has today reached a significant point in its evolution. Origin is more than a collection of industrial units. It creates employment opportunities for the local area, space for companies to grow and a base from which the ever-expanding population of London can be serviced.”

Savills acted for Wasabi. Doherty Baines, JLL and CBRE jointly acted for SEGRO.
