CBRE has recruited Marco Rampin from BNP Paribas and Tim Ryan from JP Morgan to strengthen its Capital Advisors business.
Rampin was head of the real estate capital markets group responsible for distribution and debt structuring at BNP Paribas. Prior to this he worked in the debt teams at AIG and Lend Lease.
He will start in September as head of debt and structured finance (Europe) to help develop the CBRE debt advisory business.
Ryan, who will join as head of strategic advisory, was previously head of real estate at JP Morgan in Australia and prior to that worked in the mergers and acquisitions group at Deutsche in Australia and New York.
Ryan will join in July and will report directly to CBRE’s managing director of capital advisors Richard Dakin.
Rampin will report to Steve Williamson, who CBRE poached from Deutsche in early 2013.
Dakin said: “The appointments of both Tim and Marco further enhance our integrated offering and our commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes that drive value and growth for our clients. I am delighted to welcome them both to the business.”
