London-based Delph Property Group has completed the off-plan purchase of 46 residential units from Bedford Riverside Regeneration, a joint venture between Coplan Estates and Bouygues Development, for around £9m.
The flats will be built to Delph’s specifications and are due for completion by December 2017. The contractor for the development is JB Leadbitter.
The Bedford scheme is centred on the former town hall and a car park overlooking the River Ouse in the town centre. Aside from the units purchased by Delph and associated parking, the development will include a 100-room hotel, a seven-screen cinema and 18 social housing units, plus restaurants and a new market square.
The rest of the site has been pre-let.
