Barnard Marcus brought in £23.2m at its July auction as investors snapped up 71% of the 190 lots on offer.
It was the biggest catalogue offered by the firm so far this year. However, it failed to achieve a bump in sales volumes, with the 135 lots sold reflecting its lowest success rate in 2015.
The company achieved sales rates of 78% for its two previous sales in April and May, where 175 and 179 lots were offered respectively. The highest total sales figure so far this year was achieved in May when it raised £25.4m.
Residential investment opportunities in south-east London proved popular among buy-to-let bidders on the day.
The leasehold of a vacant, two-bedroom flat in Norwood, SE25, sold for £174,000 and a freehold investment comprising three flats in New Cross, SE14, sold for £368,000.
In west London, a 2,641 sq ft building containing two maisonettes in Maida Vale, W9, failed to sell despite attracting bids of up to £3.2m.
Bids stopped at £2.4m for a freehold medical practice let in Waltham Abbey, Essex, with an annual income of £110,043 and a 30-year lease.
The top lot was a vacant three-bedroom semi-detached house in East Finchley, N2, which sold for £850,000. At the other end of the scale, a one-bedroom flat with a 99-year lease in Choppington, Northumberland, sold for just £12,000.
The sale took place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, WC2, on 29 July.
