Axa Real Estate Investment Managers is to begin work this month on its 220,000 sq ft Assembly London project after gaining planning permission.
Axa Real Estate acquired the former offices of publisher HarperCollins at 77 Fulham Palace Road, W6, in 2014 for around £80m from Nordea Property Investment.
TP Bennett has designed two blocks for the masterplan covering 150,000 sq ft of office space, 20,000 sq ft of retail and restaurant space and public realm improvements.
Bell Hammer will manage the development of the 115,000 sq ft Foundry element, while 1 Smith’s Square will cover 35,000 sq ft of mixed-use space.
Axa Real Estate will build the three-acre project speculatively, with completion expected by mid-2016.
Discussions are taking place with a TV and media production business for a 30,000 sq ft prelet.
Knight Frank, CBRE and Bruce Gillingham Pollard are letting agents.
